Well here I am again, back to not being good at this thing, as it\u2019s been a few weeks since I have last posted. But that is something that requires time, which apparently I don\u2019t have enough of. But here is why I don\u2019t have enough of it, work, I give up roughly 12.5 hours of my day Monday through Friday to work, that would include driving to and from and the actual work day. Once that is done I am left with 11.5 hours in a day, of that I like to sleep 6 – 7 hours, leaving 4.5 to 5.5 hours. Of that I lose about 1 – 2 hours between showering after work and eating dinner and taking care of the dog and other things around the house. So that in turn leaves me with 2.5 to 3.5 hours to manage this website and create art, by the way which I haven\u2019t done any of in the last couple of months either. And most days I just don\u2019t have any energy to do anything. The weekends have a bit more promise from time to time but those days are usually spent doing other things, which also includes taking care of the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I did get something extra to add to my home studio, I got a new drawing table, but then opened the box and realized it wasn\u2019t dark enough to match what I had on the one side of the room, had to return it and get a new one which I hope will arrive by the end of the week, and then hopefully I will get to put it together, maybe even this weekend, but I doubt it the last one sat for a week before I even got to open up the box. So I don\u2019t have high hopes.
I do know this, in 6 years my wife intends on retiring and I will likely do the same, but I want to also have my art biz set up and making money by then to help bring in extra money beyond what we will already be getting. But with my lack of time to actually do things that is going to be far more difficult to get done. But I am going to work on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the things I am doing to help free up some time is get my workouts done first thing in the AM, that means that we will spend less time at the gym in the afternoon because I will just have to run my wife through her workout as mine will already be done. That should allow us to get home maybe 30 minutes earlier, maybe, or it could do absolutely nothing other than me getting my workout done sooner, and I am OK with that if that is all that happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well done bitching about it now, this will be it for right now. I hope I will have time for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
