Well at least last week I did get those two paintings done because the following week just went straight to hell and I haven’t been able to do anything. I do know that at some point I am going to get it together and get my time straight and start getting the things I need to get done to advance my art related stuff. It just happens to be far more difficult than I thought it would be.
I do know this, I have read many an article over the last couple of weeks about how I was supposed to get back so many extra thousands of dollars in tax refunds this year, well let me tell you that was a bunch of bullshit! I owed this year, and had to pay the feds and the state. I am one of those people that feel the TAKING of an income tax should be unconstitutional as the Gov’t doesn’t have the right to my money that I worked hard to earn. I feel that if we eliminated the income tax then the Gov’t would be brought to heal and would have to stop growing and start shrinking at least at the federal level. If you cut off its money it will be forced to shrink back to what it was supposed to be, SMALL.
But enough of that depressing shit! One thing I am doing now is working on straightening out my training and focusing mostly on strength, I have always had a love of Wendler’s 5/3/1 and am going to move back to using that consistently because it has always worked well for me in terms of making strength gains and just working my whole body over a limited about of time. I do think that I am also going to attempt a powerlifting meet at some point by year’s end or early next year even if I just do one, though its likely I will wind up doing more than one if I did it. That leads into one other thing, last week I renewed my personal training cert and decided to get a USPA Level 1 coaching cert as well, still have to get into that. And of course I have a bunch of other work related stuff I am doing like cybersecurity and AI related stuff that I want to learn to use better to help out with work.
One thing I have to concentrate on this weekend is keeping my eating and calorie intake on point so I don’t fuck up the fact that I dropped like 5 lbs over the course of the week, which is what I always wind up doing every weekend, hence the reason why I have been gaining and losing the same 5 lbs for like the last 4 or so weeks, planning on breaking that pattern this weekend.
