This is my first painting which surprisingly was an idea I came up with while on a plane on my way back from a work trip. I have named it Light at the End, it is what those of us in recovery are always chasing, we first started chasing it while still in active addiction and continue to chase it while in sobriety and we likely always will.

This is the second painting that I did, it was also another one that came to me while I was on a plane. This one is called Stairway to Hell, and for those living with addiction that stairway goes two ways, first you descend into your own personal hell while still in your active addiction and then you get to make the return trip and ascend out of that personal hell after you have started your road to sobriety.

This is actually the fourth painting that I created, I just grabbed some paint and started, I chose several different greens and white and just started and this is what I wound up with. I am calling it Green No. 1.
