It has been a couple of weeks since my last post, I really need to do these more often so that I can keep people who might be interested in following something to read more often.
I just finished a new piece which I will get some photos of and get it online, and I have also started a new one which is actually going on an older canvas of something I didn’t like at all. I have been really slow to get things completed once I start them, that I have to get better at.
I also plan on getting back to doing a lot of drawing especially going to concentrate on figure drawing as I would eventually like to start doing some paintings along those lines as well. But definitely plan on continuing to develop my abstract paintings, I feel I can go much further with them and make some really cool stuff going forward.
Another thing I am looking at is to start selling clothing and other items with my art on it as well, so that something other than a one off canvas is available for people that might want too purchase. I am not sure if I ever intend on doing anything other than one off canvases, I know others do prints but until I figure out a way to get that done which will honestly be profitable to me that isn’t going to happen. I also don’t like the idea of diluting the value of the original so much. We will see how that goes and all.
I will however do my best to start posting more often here as well, going to shoot for at least once a week so that I can document my journey better than I have been.
