I have been talking about getting my art studio/home office moved to the lower level of my house for like the last two weeks and this past weekend it finally got done. Took two days but that is all good. It helped that during the course of the week I got rid of the two pieces of furniture I needed to get out of the room which were hindering it mostly. A third piece wound up getting moved upstairs to the loft I moved stuff out of. Below are photos of what the room looks like now. I do my best to keep my art supplies very organized. In the second pic that little table it will eventually get covered with a black fitted table cloth so that I can store my canvases under it and hide them.

In the process of doing all this I was able to purge more stuff, mostly old books that I have either read or just no longer needed, and a bunch that I actually have electronic versions of as well which travel with me on my phone and iPad and Kindle.

So now I have my studio in a location where I can be more productive and start creating art again since I haven’t been able to do anything for a few months since being forced back to the office full time, it was expected but all good. I did learn one thing from this, my attempt to use the loft upstairs though a good thing to do is not something I will do again, going to keep all my stuff downstairs where I can access it better and more easily.

Well this is it for now.
