Well it has been a minute since I have posted here, but I have meant to, I have unfortunately not had the time in order to actually get to it. Life sometimes get extremely busy for me, between my full time job and just what I have going on outside of work it can get a bit overwhelming at times.
Big thing recently apparently Microsoft did an update that much to my dismay bricked my laptop, how nice of MS to do that with one of there updates. That lead to having to buy a new one, well this time it was back to another Mac, I picked up a MacBook Air and so far I am pleased with it, I just have to figure out how to get it to extend the display and I am good, as I have two extra monitors hooked up to it.
We were supposed to go see Slayer this past weekend but weren’t able to had to go run up to NJ and watch our granddaughter and honestly that was way more fun and since it had been like a month since last time we saw her it took precedence over the show. Also came to a conclusion when it comes to shows we go see have to really make sure I am looking at the location and how far the travel distance and time is, Hershey PA is too far for sure, so likely not going to go much further than Philly to the north and Baltimore to the south, there are plenty of places that do concerts with good bands showing up in those locations. Still have two shows coming up in the next couple of months, one of which is Trans Siberian Orchestra who we have been trying to go see for a few years, finally was able to get tickets to one of there shows, can’t wait to see it.
On the fitness front, I have finally most gotten to a level where I am spending most of my time below 200 lbs, though this past weekend I ate really poorly and weighed in this morning at 201.4, but my weight in the last 3+ weeks hasn’t gone over 202 and has mostly stayed around 198 – 199, so that is a big win for me for sure.
On the art front, still haven’t gotten much done there, have plenty of plans for getting things done but I still haven’t gotten to any of it, but will be doing so in the coming days for sure. I want to finish the painting I started a few months ago and get that done and then figure out what I am going to do next.
