Well I have been doing a pretty poor job of posting here on a regular basis, something which I must change in the new year which we are now over a month into. So I have a bunch of updates and just random shit to post about.
So first fun thing, we have been getting hammered with cold weather up here in the NE, to include getting our first major snow storm in like 10+ years, wasn’t fun at all because it was combined with a good deal of ice which was tons of fun to shovel and clean up. It did equate to two days working from home.
Another good thing, our son is going to be moving back home at least for a little while, we helped him get a job in the same location we work which would be a step up in money and security of job that will score him regular raises and the ability to move up. He is also going to look into doing paramedic school as well to help with moving up in the job to another department within what he is doing. It might be about a year and a half then we will be helping him move back to NJ so he can be closer to his daughter.
For me, I have been working on a couple of new pieces but with work and all that is difficult to get things done but I am doing to start concentrating on trying to just work through a piece and complete it all at once and make sure its done so that I can just move onto the next one. I do still have to get to my learning to draw again that is part of the plan for the new year, I have lots of material to help me get that done just have to get into it which all goes back to making the time. And the last thing, started looking at the school that I got my Associates from and I am going to go back and get a BS in CyberSecurity being I need to keep a full time gig and need to do something more interesting and that will get my salary moving north again because right now it is stalled in a severe way.
On the fitness front, that is going well I have kept my weight below 200 pounds for I am going to say most of the last 50+ days, I think since the middle of December I have had maybe 5 days above that. I have also come to a conclusion that my end weight needs to be somewhere around 175 because I think that will be optimal for me to help all my broken parts not feel so broken anymore.
Last thing, likely going to update the logo on this site, within the next couple of days. I want to have it similar to a couple of other sites that I also operate.
Well this is all for now, and I intend to make it more of a habit to post more often here as well.
Later,
David
